Our Evolution MPC travel program is more than just a way to reward top producers. It’s also a developmental tool that helps our team members grow.
For instance, we often travel to leadership conferences that get us around some of the most accomplished professionals in our field. We listen to their stories and learn from them, so that as we move forward in our career journeys, we can repeat their good choices while avoiding their missteps. Experience is the best teacher, but it’s wise to learn from another’s experience when we can.
Also, Team Evolution MPC frequently attends networking events. We share best practices and exchange information, looking for ways to be of service to those we meet. As our networks grow, so too does our access to knowledge and potential business opportunities. Even more importantly, many of those on our contact lists end up becoming our friends.
While learning from others and building our networks, we are also strengthening character traits. For example, getting out of our normal routine and visiting someplace new pulls us out of our comfort zones, so we learn to be adaptable and self-reliant – qualities that are useful in any industry.
