Our Evolution MPC travel program is used both to recognize our top producers for their efforts, and as part of our comprehensive training program. One month might include a road trip for regional training, while another finds one or two event managers flying to an exotic locale for some well-earned rest and relaxation.
Our most recent trip sent a few of our ambassadors for good to Tampa, Florida. The conference focused on training for event bookers, assistant managers, and Directors. Industry leaders from across the country were in attendance. We made many important connections, learned valuable new skills, and had a lot of fun at the same time.
While traveling to weekend conferences can be expensive, we consider Evolution MPC trips to be more than worth the cost. Not only do we receive hands-on training and demonstrations on the latest industry techniques, but we network with and learn from the biggest names in peer-to-peer marketing.
These benefits by themselves might be enough to justify travel, but there’s more. Camaraderie is always enhanced when our event managers get a chance to spend time together away from the office, which enhances teamwork when everyone returns to HQ. Also, the stories that we tell our colleagues when we return raise office morale, both because it’s obvious that we enjoy our trips and because everyone knows that next time, with enough effort, they could be the ones who earn the chance to go.
